Our long block rebuilds include:
- De-greasing, cleaning and inspection of all parts including magnaflux crack testing of crankshaft and transmission drums.
- Resurfaced deck, manifold face and cylinder head
- Regrind crankshaft
- Installation of unleaded valve seats and bronze valve guides
- New alloy valves, springs, retainers and lifters
- Re-babbitted main bearings and align boring with full laminated shim stack
- Re-babbitted connecting rods with oil dippers installed
- Re-bored to next oversize on piston bores
- New alloy pistons and rings
- New crank gear and aluminum camshaft gear
- Reground cam with new cam bearings
- New gaskets including a copper head gasket
- Kevlar band linings
- Re-bush transmission
- Modern clutch plates
- Oil drain plug with magnet
- Babbitted 4th main
- Balanced crankshaft and flywheel
- Assembly and painting

Long block rebuild upgrade options include:
- Driver grind camshaft or a new Stipe camshaft (250 or 280)
- Chevy valve kit (using modern retainers) with stock or larger valve head diameter
- Bronze timing gear
- Model A Crank installation
- High Volume Oil Line Kits
- High Compression Head
Extra costs maybe required for the following:
- Cracked block (price of repair depends on the severity of the crack)
- Cracked crankshaft
- Cracked transmission drums
or unusable transmission parts
- Unavailable or unusable cores such as the camshaft, connecting rods, main caps and bolts
- Re-sleeving cylinders
- Helicoils for bad bolt threads and broken head bolts
- Badly burnt or distorted manifold face
- Test run, rebuilt starter, rebult carburetor, rebuilt generator or alternator, inlet and exhaust manifolds
- Re-bushed/re-built transmission cover
