Model T Complete Long Block Rebuild
For total peace of mind as well as increased power and performance, have us rebuild your complete engine and transmission.
Our Complete Model T Long Block Rebuild Includes:
Disassemble, de-greasing, cleaning and inspecting of all parts including magnaflux crack testing of crankshaft, transmission drums and block
Resurfacing the top of the block and manifold faces and the cylinder head
Re-grind the crankshaft
Installation of unleaded valve seats and bronze valve guides
New alloy valves, springs, retainers and lifters
rebabbitted main bearings and align boring with full laminated shim stack
Rebabbitted connecting rods with oil dippers installed
Rebored to next oversize on piston bores
New alloy pistons and rings
New crank gear and aluminum camshaft gear
Reground cam with new cam bearings
Installation or replacement of crank pulley
New gaskets including a copper head gasket
Installation of Kevlar band linings
Straightening of oil pan
rebuild magneto or install oil slinger kit
Re-bush transmission
Install modern clutch plates
New oil drain plug with magnet
Babbitted 4th main
Rebuilding of hogshead including: O-ring installation, pedal cams, springs, nuts and washers
Balanced crankshaft and flywheel
Assembly and painting
Test run, re-torqued and adjustments made, ready for installation
Upgrade Options Include:
Driver grind camshaft or a new Stipe camshaft (250 or 280)
Chevy valve kit (using modern retainers) with stock or larger valve head diameter
Bronze timing gear
Scat crankshaft Installation
High Volume Oil Line Kits
High Compression Head
Starter Conversions
Repair or Replace carburator, timer or manifolds
Extra cost may be required for the following:
Cracked block repair (price depends on the severity of the crack)
Cracked crankshaft
Unavailable or unusable cores such as the camshaft, connecting rods, main caps and bolts
Resleeving the cylinders
Helicoils for bad bolt threads and broken head bolts
Badly burnt or distorted manifold face
Cracked transmission drums or unusable transmission parts
Test run, rebuilt starter, rebuilt carburetor, rebuilt generator or alternator, inlet and exhaust manifolds
Re-bushed or rebuilt transmission cover
